WISA Wire - Slip Resistant

WISA-Wire is a flooring panel coated with phenolic film imprinted with a wiremesh pattern. Panels are mainly used for construction purposes, such as scaffolding and working platforms and floors in warehouses where forklifts or pallet trucks are not used. WISA-Wire can also be used as flooring panel in the light and heavy transport industry.

Product description

Wisa-Wire is a wood-based laminated panel, intended for use in transport industry and building applications.
Scarfjointed maxi panels available in birch base panels.

Bonding

Phenolic resin cross-bonded weather resistant glueing according to EN 314-2/class 3 (DIN 68705 Teil 3: BFU 100; BS 6566 Part 8: WBP)

Surface

Face: Phenolic resin coating with wiremesh pattern, dark brown (abt RAL 8017). Various coating weights available. Other colours available at request.

Reverse:

Phenolic moisture barrier. Available either smooth or imprinted.

Edge protection

Acrylic-based paint.

Impregnation

Birch base panel can be impregnated according to AQIS requirements for sea containers.
Spruce base panel can be impregnated against rot and fungi.

Machining

Edge and CNC machinings available on request.

The largest scarfjointed panel size 12300 x 2700 mm (birch only).

Size tolerances:

  • < 1000 mm +/- 1 mm
  • 1000-2000 mm +/- 2 mm
  • 2000-6000 mm +/- 3 mm
  • > 6000 mm +/- 5 mm

Squareness tolerance:

+/- 1 mm / 1000 mm

Rolling test (average values for base panels SS923502/300kg):
Birch plywood 1750+/-35%

Wear resistance (Taber DIN 53799):
380, 450, 570 rev’s for coatings 145, 167, 220 g/m2.
